Fun at Spirit Halloween.

Feeling whole after next-day Amazon delivery of this $15 watch. A year or two ago, I spent months not letting myself splurge on a Fossil watch that had an analog timepiece, but also tracked heart rate, connected to Bluetooth, etc... When the band on that broke a couple of weeks ago, I realized that the "smart" elements of the watch had either never worked properly, or long since stopped, and that I hadn't cared; I just wanted to be able to glance at the time.

Got to visit American Dream (the mall, not the beau idéal, as evidenced by the fact that it is in New Jersey). What a nice day; what a lucky, happy guy.

Dreaming of 16 GBs of RAM at Best Buy.

Last summer, while walking around my neighborhood, I found this intriguing little notepad, half its sheets missing, on the sidewalk next to a trashcan. Picked it up and loved the paper quality. Thin and a yellowed gray color like old pulp novels.

Used them for everything and finally, a couple days ago, exhausted my supply, so went online and found them ("Recycled Paper Memo Pad"), sold direct from Muji for $1.61 🤯 a piece! I bought five, so should be good for awhile...
