Keep meaning to buy cheap etchings off Etsy to dress up my walls but never get around to it and realized I could as easily print my own. So I picked some stuff I liked; Keats' death portrait, a sketch of Graham Greene, a portrait Averill did of me in Maine in 2019, Parisina Malatesta confronted with her lover's head, Dante among the suicides and squanderers and harpies.

Stained some of them in coffee to look cool.

Was looking forward to getting home and getting to work this evening. The miter saw made a lot of noise, which always makes me a bit nervous in a small apartment, and made a terrific mess, especially since the chair rails are some sort of PVC that sent little shavings everywhere.

The angles where the pieces meet were definitely the biggest challenge. I posted a few pictures. They range from not awful to awful. But nothing some spackle can't fix!

Then, at the end, got to tidy up, which is always so satisfying. Unfortunately, had to leave my coffee table wedged against the base board while the liquid nails set.
