In honor of graduation season....
Tell us about your SENIOR year of high school, longer ago it was the more fun the answers will be.
CLASS OF 2003
What school did you graduate from?
Edmond Memorial High School
Did you know your current spouse?
Yep
What kind of car did you have?
1993 Buick Century that my grandma gave me after she had a puking attack that shorted out the tape deck and stained the interior.
It's FRIDAY night, where were you?
Playing mean-spirited pranks on people working the drive-thru at McDonald's.
What kind of job did you have?
Worked the drive-thru at McDonald's
Were you a party animal?
No.
Were you a jock or Nerd?
I was in marching band. Looked down on by both groups.
Were you in choir/Band or orchestra?
Band.
What's your favorite thing you still have from then?
My wife, miraculously.
Do you have a favorite moment?
Too many.
Did you ever get suspended?
No, but I got pretty close for a stupid assignment where we had to write a message in hieroglyphics which would then be randomly given to another student to decode. Mine said something like "I slept with your mom" and it was given to a kid whose mom had died pretty recently. It was unfortunate, but I like to think we all learned something and grew from the experience, except for me, obviously.
If you could go back would you?
Of course! Halcyon days, those.
Do you still talk to the person you went to prom with?
I think so, but it's hard to hear over the kids screaming.
Did you skip?
Yeah. I'd sneak out to the parking lot and sleep in the backseat of my car.
Do you know where your high school sweet heart lives?
Yep.
Favorite subject?
English and European History, mostly because of great teachers.
Do you have any of your yearbooks?
I think somewhere...
Do you talk to your senior year friends?
Sure. And usually try to get together when in Oklahoma.
